Superbowrl Sunday Recipe Ideas

LET'S ENJOY OUR SUPERBOWL SUNDAY AND STILL STAY ON TRACK!

There is no reason why we should have to stay home and sulk on Superbowl Sunday just because we are trying to take off weight and FTDI! Plan ahead and bring something that everyone will enjoy! There have been so many times that I've brought a crockpot of FTDI Chili or a platter of FTDI Buffalo Chicken Nuggets and Celery, etc. to a get together and NO ONE KNEW that they were eating FTDI food!

SO LET'S TALK party RECIPE IDEAS!

TOP 10 SUPERBOWL SUNDAY RECIPE IDEAS:

MooMoo Jackson Style

#10 chips and salsa (ftdi)

Make FTDI Oat Tortillas, cut them into triangles, spread them on a cookie sheet, spray them lightly with Pam, shake Pink Himalayan Salt on them, then bake them at 350 degrees until they are crunchy! Pair with any store bought salsa you like! You can even make homemade green or red salsa! Feel free to bring real tortilla chips for those not interested in Oat Tortilla Chips.

Note: My FTDI Oat Tortilla Recipe is located on this website.

#9 tex-mex salad and dressing (ftdi)

Everyone will like this salad so make a big bowl! What you put in it is totally up to you! Be creative with our FTDI food list!

I like to put baby spinach, baby kale, and shredded Brussel sprouts as my base. Then make a rough chopped pico de gallo using tomatoes, jalapeños, garlic, red onion, cilantro, lime to mix into your salad (don't mix it in until right before serving so it doesn't get soggy). P.S.--Salsa IS FTDI and pico de gallo counts as salsa so you're good!

Make some baked Oat Tortilla strips for the crunchy part of this salad (make oat tortillas, cut them into little strips, spread on baking sheet, spray with Pam, sprinkle with Pink Himalayan Salt, bake at 350 until crunchy).

The best part is my FTDI Tex-Mex dressing which is simple and yummy! It's 50/50 Chunky Red Salsa and Walden Farms Bacon Ranch Dressing and some other seasonings (see recipe below).

#8 bbq marinated chicken (ftdi)

Sometimes the marinade you use changes everything! This is a marinade my BFF, Angela Borruso taught me and it's BOMB! Put your boneless, skinless chicken breasts in it the day before so it gets at least 12 hours to marinade in then grill it up on the BBQ and I promise you and everyone else will enjoy it! Meats2u has fantastic boneless, skinless chicken breasts that are pre-seasoned and FTDI if you'd like to use that! You can still marinade pre-seasoned chicken!

Get a BBQ tray for your veggies (at Costco, Lowes, or Home Depot) and BBQ up any of your FTDI veggies (simply spray them lightly with zero calorie cooking spray, sprinkle them with any FTDI seasoning, place them on the BBQ tray and grill them up)! Asparagus, Brussel Sprouts, Onions, Jalapeños, lemons (halved), and Sweet Potatoes are AWESOME on the grill with this marinated chicken recipe!

#7 sweet potato brownies (ftdi)

You'll need a dessert so you don't get tempted to eat all the other non-FTDI treats. FTDI Sweet Potato Brownies are awesome! Remember that these are counted as your CARB PORTION (they aren't just eaten whenever as dessert). Follow my portion instructions on my recipe.

Note: My FTDI Sweet Potato Brownies recipe is located on this website!

#6 deviled eggs platter (ftdi)

My FTDI Devilled Eggs recipe tastes like it has yolks but DOESN'T!! NO one notices when I bring them! They are a fantastic FTDI appetizer for game day!! They really are worth making, I promise!

Note: My FTDI Deviled Eggs recipe is located on this website!

#5 loaded baked sweet potato bar (ftdi)

This is a fun, yummy idea and can be done anyway you like! You can bake small sized sweet potatoes wrapped in foil in the oven or even put them on the BBQ on game day! I like to make a little toppings bar for everyone to chose from using FTDI ingredients such as shredded chicken, diced white onion, chopped jalapeño, lemon or lime wedges, cilantro, salsa, shredded Brussel sprouts, or chopped baby spinach. A simple way to make some quick shredded chicken is using my FTDI Green Chile Crockpot Chicken recipe (which is what I used in this picture) because it's quick and delicious! But, you can really use any FTDI protein and veggie for the top! Be careful to only eat a fist sized portion of sweet potato (since I doubt you'll have your scale at a Superbowl party).

Note: My FTDI Green Chile "Crackpot" Chicken is located on this website.

#4 ground turkey sliders (ftdi)

Make some Ground turkey patties to grill up on the BBQ! You can also use a George Forman Grill or a griddle in doors, but the BBQ just really gets the party going!

I combine 1% ground turkey AND ground chicken breast 50/50 for a more moist patty. Ground turkey on it's own can be dry! This way it's not so dry. Meats2u has fantastic Ground Poultry that is pre-seasoned and FTDI if you'd like to use that!

You can put any FTDI ingredients you want in your patties! Be creative!! I like to put Pink Himalayan Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Crushed Red Peppers, and egg whites (to help bind the meat together). I have an FTDI BBQ sauce recipe in my first FTDI Meats2u cookbook called "Healthy Tasty" that is SOOOO good on these sliders! Paint it on them and grill them up! I also grill red onion slices and jalapeño wedges to put on my sliders!

For the "bun" you can either put my FTDI Oat Tortilla recipe in your waffle maker, or you can cut sweet potatoes slices to put on the grill and act as the bun (see example pic below). Use spinach or kale in place of lettuce. Tomatoes aren't technically FTDI but salsa IS FTDI so throw some pico de gallo on top, or a thin slice of tomato and a grilled onion (same difference)--MODERATION though.

#3 street taco bar (ftdi)

WHO DOESN'T LOVE A TACO BAR???? Make any FTDI Taco meat then set up FTDI taco fixings (lime, cilantro, diced white onion, jalapeño, salsa, shredded Brussel sprouts, chopped spinach or kale, etc.). Make a batch of Oat Tortillas for yourself and bring regular corn tortillas for everyone else....it works out perfect! CROWD PLEASER!

In my first FTDI Meats2u cookbook called "Healthy Tasty" I have a delicious FTDI Taco Seasoning recipe that is great in ground turkey if you'd like some turkey tacos!

Note: My FTDI Oat Tortilla Recipe is located on this website.

#2 turkey chili (ftdi)

My FTDI Turkey Chili recipe is seriously a CROWD FAVORITE! Not only in FTDI land, but with everyone! I bring it all the time to get-togethers and it always gets GONE! Most of my family and friends don't even know this is FTDI! I put it in my crockpot after I make it to keep it warm at a party! Bring it and enjoy the day with everyone! Feel free to throw any FTDI veggies in it and serve it over any FTDI carb. It's tasty over baked sweet potato!

Note: My FTDI Turkey Chili recipe is located on this website.

and finally, the #1 superbowl sunday winning ftdi dish:

buffalo chicken wing platter (ftdi)

Make a whole entire platter of FTDI Buffalo Chicken Nuggets (or "Wings" if you cut them wing size)! Add Celery sticks to your platter and a bowl of Walden Farms Bacon Ranch to dip it all in and I'M TELLING YOU people LOVE IT! This is another dish that gets GONE at parties when I bring it! Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Sauce is zero calories and is FTDI!

Note: Follow my FTDI Buffalo Chicken Nugget recipe located on this website!

P.S.--This picture is from one of our Camp AFF named Jenn Garcia! I like to share that other people can totally follow my recipes and enjoy their journey to health as well! This is completely doable! Thanks Jenn for sharing your pic! Looks FANTASTIC!

HAPPY FTDI SUPERBOWL SUNDAY!!!
